The Big Bear Alpine Zoo is a rehabilitation facility offering injured, orphaned and imprinted wild animals a safe haven; temporarily while they heal or permanently as they are unable to survive on their own. We are extremely proud that the vast majority of animals brought to us for rehabilitation are successfully released back into their native environment. Those that remain with us on exhibit are either too injured or have been imprinted by humans and cannot be released back into the wild to care for themselves. |

Visit Big Bear Alpine Zoo with your family, friends or alone to see some of the world's most beautiful creations! The Zoo is a home for more than 85 species. All species live in a safe, comfortable and stress-free environment which is the key to the well-being of the animals. You are given an unforgettable opportunity to discover all the amount of work the zoo does for the preservation and rehabilitation wildlife. |

Kitty Bungalow |
Kitty Bungalow is a community cat organization and kitten socialization facility. We focus our attention on providing services for the most vulnerable of felines. Our cats and kittens come from the mean streets of Los Angeles, whether it be directly from TNR, pulling from LA Animal Services, or working with our remarkable rescue partners. Kitty Bungalow provides the community with access to free TNR services, which allows for thousands of cats to be fixed, receive vaccines and flea treatment, and get returned to the people who care for them. Kitty Bungalow intake hundreds of kittens each year into Charm School. Our dedicated family of onsite volunteers and foster parents care for our "students" and use force-free socialization techniques to take street cats from 'hiss to home.' As a No Kill facility, we believe that working together is how the best life-saving strategies come to be. |
For people affected by poverty or disaster, health is essential to a better future. With good health, they can attend school, be productive at work, care for their families and contribute to strong communities. Poor health puts all of those opportunities at risk. Health is fundamental to all aspects of development. |

More than 1.7 billion people around the world are unbanked and can’t access the financial services they need. Kiva is an international nonprofit, founded in 2005 in San Francisco, with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. We do this by crowdfunding loans and unlocking capital for the underserved, improving the quality and cost of financial services, and addressing the underlying barriers to financial access around the world. Through Kiva's work, students can pay for tuition, women can start businesses, farmers are able to invest in equipment and families can afford needed emergency care. By lending as little as $25 on Kiva, you can be part of the solution and make a real difference in someone’s life. |

Habitat for Humanity |
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Through our 2020 Strategic Plan, Habitat for Humanity will serve more people than ever before through decent and affordable housing. Non-proselytizing policy - Habitat for Humanity and its affiliate organizations will not proselytize. Nor will Habitat work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with Habitat. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith. |
